Beginning Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, the Huntington Museum of Art will be making upgrades to the four bridges on our nature trails. If weather permits, this project will be finished in less than a week. We wanted to let everyone know that sections of the trails may be closed temporarily while the upgrades are taking place.

The Museum's property includes more than 40 acres of hillside that is retained in its natural woodland state. This is where you'll find our nature trail – a well-marked, maintained trail system approximately one mile in length and composed of six trails including the Teubert Foundation Sensory Trail just beyond the Steelman Butterfly Garden. The trail has a variety of inclines, from nearly flat to gently sloping to steep. If you are part of an organization, our trained nature docent volunteers will lead your group on active, informative trail tours. Nature trail tours last approximately 90 minutes, and are available throughout the year, weather permitting.
