Part-Time Facilities Assistant
Schedule – Tuesday - 3:15 to 9:15
Friday -5 hours flexible
Saturday – 9:45 to 5:15
Sunday – 11:45 to 5:15
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for attending to all duties assigned by the Facilities Director, including such things as the day-to-day operations of basic upkeep around the museum and grounds. Assist all departments as needed concerning up keep of the building.
Responsible for helping with setting up events at the museum, setting up and putting away tables and chairs.
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Experience working in Janitorial and General Maintenance a plus.
Have a valid personal driver’s license and insurable driving record
Organized and detail oriented, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks
A personable and professional demeanor, with excellent verbal skills and interpersonal skills
Have basic computer skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects; and to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must be agile enough to work in close quarters in equipment rooms and elsewhere. The employee may be required to climb or balance on a ladder and be able to left up to 50 pounds.
