The Huntington Museum of Art is seeking art entries for Exhibition 280. This exhibit is presented by Jack and Angie Bourdelais.

Exhibition 280 is a regional juried show with an opening night reception on July 21, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Entries are being accepted now through April 15, 2018, online at www.callforentry.org, where all the details about entering Exhibition 280 are available. CaFÉ, an online exhibition management firm, is processing the entries.

This juried show, which will run at HMA from July 14, 2018, through Sept. 16, 2018, is open to artists 18 years and older, working in all media, who reside in West Virginia and the five states that border West Virginia, including Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland. A $30 non-refundable entry fee gives an artist the option of entering one to three works in the competition. Three $2,000 awards from the exhibit will be chosen by the juror and a purchase award will be chosen by HMA.

The juror for the show is Laura Roulet, an independent curator and writer based in Washington, D.C. Laura has most recently worked on the project Relational Undercurrents: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California (2017-18) and was one of five international curators chosen for the DC public art project 5x5 in 2012.  She has written widely on contemporary art and is a frequent contributor to Sculpture magazine.

Exhibition 280 is presented by Jack and Angie Bourdelais.
