Adult/Community Tours
The Museum is pleased to offer guided tours to your group during regular operating hours:
Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sundays, Noon – 5 p.m.
There is no additional cost for guided tours. Tours are led by trained volunteer docents, and all areas of the Museum are available for tours. Tours can be customized for your group’s particular area of interest. To reserve a docent to lead your group, please contact Cindy Dearborn at cdearborn@hmoa.org at least two weeks before your planned visit.
Tuesday Tours for Adults
HMA is the place to be on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Every Tuesday Tour is special. There is a theme or focus each time with informed and qualified docents engaging visitors. Refreshments are included every Tuesday as well. If you are looking for an exciting, interesting, stimulating and fun experience, wind your way up the hill to the Museum on the fourth Tuesday of the month for Tuesday Tours. Tours begin at 7 p.m.
Visitors enjoy the Tasting Tour in HMA’s C. Fred Edwards Conservatory.
Fun refreshments were served after the Harry Potter and the Permanent Collection tour, which featured excerpts being read from the books by J.K. Rowling.
